I think the goverment purchasing of any product should favor it's own. Any trade deal that says it can't is not a smart deal.

As for the pipeline, " otherwise stay the heck out of it."

I agree with Trump in his encouragement they all use US sourced material and labor, but mandating private companies do so without a compelling national interest is not free trade.
