PUBLIC PARTICIPATION OF THESE MEETINGS WILL BE LISTEN ONLY

I believe the March 4 meeting is open to public participation. However, I have a job to go to and can't sit on a phone line for 5 hours.
USDA has been much sneakier this time around with Animal ID. No one really knows what they are going to do, so it makes it harder to oppose.
What remains the same is that the only beneficiaries are those businesses that import and export livestock. Those of us not in that business will be inconvenienced, and have our animals exposed to a higher risk of a foreign animal disease when they remove all pretense of quarantine and inspection.
