This cow lost her tag so I had to make her a new one. It gave me something to do to justify my existence. Our cows born in 2002 don't have a second button tag to know what the original number would have been. I gave her a new number starting with 2, the 8 stands for the year the new tag was made, and the 01 means she is the first cow that had this done this year. :? :???: :)

I see that your wife still has on her protective brace on her hand.....how is the recovery going?

Thanks for the concern. Peach's hand recovery seems to be going well. She had carpal tunnel surgery done on December 19th. It seems fine except for a little tenderness. She gave the vaccination mostly with her left hand, and still did a remarkably fine job.

I didn't have carpal tunnel but I had chronic " tennis elbow" which is the same affliction in the elbow.

I switched hands also when the right one became too painful to use
( pre-surgery).

Tell her to be careful as now my left side will need some attention also due to the switch...so be mindful of overusing the other hand.

I ended up having my elbow rebuilt and I know how painful something like can be.

My problems were also caused from too much cattle work...tagging, vacc,, etc over the years, what the men-folk called " womens work"  . It catches up to ya!!!

Peach Blossom appreciated your comments when I read them, and said, "That was nice of her." :)

Peach graduated from West Nebraska Hospital School of Nursing in Scottsbluff, as a registered nurse. She has more schooling and much more competency than I when it comes to giving the shots. :)
