Peach would probably enjoy mowing with this outfit, if our ship ever came in. Probably if that happened, we'd be standing at the airport. :)

The gentleman at the far right has recently written his autobiography. It is very interesting reading, and is entitled
Against the Current, by Orville Beyea. He had a book signing yesterday at Dave Price's Gallery.

Peach and I later enjoyed seeing the movie Valentine's Day. It was a pretty good show, all things considered.

Wow...you would of thunk it was really cold at the Bull Bash by the looks of how many coats I have on...which I did..lol But at least I was warm...You have pretty much the same pics as I got...it was a nice day, and we too went out for supper that nite and had steak! The best steaks are in Valentine!!! I also bought Orvilles book, since he was neighbor of ours for quite a few years till he retired...looking forward to reading it... :D

What is it with Nebraska and horizontal stop lights? Whenever i'm in the suburbs of Omaha, it cracks me up seeing them, because us Iowegians don't have them.

That meal looks mighty good, Soap!

Oh BTW, the lack of snow cover sticks out like a sore thumb, i'd be more than happy to send you some of the 16 inches that I have on the ground here.

Soap, Sorry I missed you at Bull Bash again this year. But I stayed home to feed and watch our cows that are having AI calves. When I got down there at 1:00 the #1 son and #3 daughter said they had a nice visit with you. By your pictures it looks like you took in most everything they had to offer. At least the weather was a little better than the last two years, Maybe next year we can run into each other face to face.  :cboy: :cboy:

You had some nice Hereford bulls on display. That big dark one with pigment in the right places looks good to me. He would cross well on Angus cows. Sounds like you used him this past year. He should throw some great calves.

I forgot to take a picture this year. Here is a photo from last year, and the bull that I really like is the dark bull on the right.

Soap, you almost committed manslaughter putting up that noon meal picture. I just involuntarily started salivating so fast I almost choked, you rascal you.

garn, I've often wondered the same thing about those horizontal Nebraska stoplights. Don't see 'em in SD either.

Does make sense though. Looks like the stoplights would be easier to mount securely, and save on pole expense by buying shorter poles.

I know of one reason why our town does have the stoplights on a pole..it's cause we have such heavy semitruck traffic. from cattle trucks to combine crews..lots of tall truck and trailers...and they all travel our main street coming from the north...not sure what other cities reasonings are though...
