There were lots of good bulls on display all the way down Main Street.

Looking north. It was too cold to take many pictures. The temperature on the bank read about 10 degrees most of the afternoon, with a brisk breeze coming from the north.

I went into the Plains Trading Company to warm up. These nice folks recently wrote this book about Nebraska historical sights. They were autographing any books that people purchased.

There were slides and video clips of the right and wrong ways to handle cattle.

These kids didn't have TVs or computers messing with their minds. Instead they broke a calf to ride so they could rope the dog and brand it with a rake. It is a classic picture.

Thanks for posting the pictures we all wanted to go this year, but our cows came home. Thanks especially for posting the picture of the flags. The rural schools art teacher had sent home notes that they were going to be displayed and from the looks of your picture she did a nice job.

Here it got nasty cold with wind included. Looks like it was a cold day there too.

Looks like a good time. I hope I can bring a pen of bulls down there next year. This year I went to Baker's and bought a new herd sire for the heifers.
