One or two will tell thousands what they can and cannot do.

with a court decision based on "one" founder's letter, they (athiests), are following the courts lead, that one can over-rule many......

" In the court's 1947 Everson v. Board of Education decision, Justice Hugo Black wrote, "In the words of Jefferson, the clause against establishment of religion by law was intended to erect 'a wall of separation between church and state.'" "

not that the constitution said, but that "the words of Jefferson",...

am I the only one who believes the decision is wrong?

that there is a seperation based on the danbury letter by one founder is enough to over-rule the constitution?



Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

by restricting the prayer they, (the Goverment), are in effect prohibiting the free exercise thereof........

so if Congress can't do prohibit, then why can the courts prohibit free excercise of Religion?

when our first elected representative set thier first laws governing new states this was written.....
ART. 1. No person, demeaning himself in a peaceable and orderly manner, shall ever be molested on account of his mode of worship or religious sentiments, in the said territory.

ART. 3. Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged.,...

ART. 5. ,...and shall be at liberty to form a permanent constitution and State government: Provided, the constitution and government so to be formed, shall be republican, and in conformity to the principles contained in these articles;

Article one states a territory to must allow free religion...

Article three reinforces that religion be forever encouraged.

Article 5, reinforces that to be a state one must follow the other articles, principles out lined, and the constitution.....

so what put Jefferson's Letter above the other framers, and our first elected representatives? thus voiding our protections?
