as the news "filters out"

we saw the rioters looting and torching of a business...

Did they torch the wrong Quiky Mart?

While a Quiky Mart was the only building I heard that was torched.. was it not just robbed,.. but instead looted and torched for a more deceitful reason?.. we may never know..

but it seems one just down the road was strong arm robbed just a few minutes (7) before the officer pulled over the thug who then assaulted him...

A suburban St. Louis police chief on Friday identified the officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager ignited days of heated protests, and released documents alleging the teen was killed after a robbery in which he was suspected of stealing a $48.99 box of cigars.

Ferguson, Mo., Police Chief Thomas Jackson said that the robbery took place just before noon on Saturday at a nearby convenience store roughly 10 minutes before a police officer identified as Darren Wilson fired the bullet that killed Michael Brown. Police say that the shot was fired after a struggled touched off by Wilson's confronting Brown

and one of the "witnesses" to the shooting has now been implicated in the robbery..

while all this is alleged.. I am sure the police know by now.. or they would not have linked the two together..

after the assault and first shot.. the two fled...

and if a person stops fleeing and turns suddenly.. an officer has a split second to make a decision..

a few more days of rioting and we could have this sorted out...

or as MSNBC says.. he didn't deserve to be shot for shoplifting...

but what about strong armed robbery,.. assault and battery,.. assaulting a police officer..,... resisting arrest..

in my opinion ... the first shot was totally justified..

I'll wait to decide on any other "alleged" shots..

Yep- once someone tries to shoot you- its game on...

Not really, but it should be.

Just ask the pharmacist that was convicted of murder for double tapping a kid that robbed him at gun point, or numerous other cases. Circumstances matter.

What I hate is the media labeling the kid as unarmed teenager, if he was attempting to take the cops gun and had a size advantage like I bet he does. That is very misleading.

St. Louis gun sales skyrocket in wake of recent riots (VIDEO)

8/15/14 | by Jennifer Cruz

Gun shop owners around St. Louis said they have seen an increase in gun sales this week following the officer-involved shooting death of an unarmed teen which sparked riots and looting in the suburb of Ferguson.

“One hundred percent of the people buying firearms in the last two days have been purchasing them for defensive purposes,”
Steven King, owner of Metro Shooting, about five miles outside of Ferguson, told a local CBS affiliate. “They’re afraid of the rioting. They’re afraid of the looting. They’re afraid of personal injury to themselves or their family. They’re afraid that something’s going to happen.”

I detect a racial overtone in the above post. Something a KKK'r or possible anarchist might post. :wink

Last night was not the picture the media wanted to display either..

it wasn't the militarized look from the police.. but the unlawful nature of the thugs that drove it..

Now that the State police officers' soft approach failed.. they turned to the same approach as the prior commands.. tear gas and force..

just another lesson of liberals never learn..

Looting, tensions dash tenuous peace in Ferguson's streets

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- A fragile peace shattered in Ferguson early Saturday, as looters again robbed neighborhood business while law enforcement officers -- who returned to the streets with riot gear, tactical rifles and armored vehicles -- looked on but largely didn't intervene.

Looters began Saturday's pillage at the Ferguson Market and Liquor store, which has become part of the case surrounding Brown. Shortly before Brown was shot last week, police say, a man fitting his description allegedly stole cigars and roughed up a store clerk as surveillance cameras recorded.

isn't this the same "type" of store they burnt down a few days earlier..

not to jump to a conclusion.. but it seems mighty suspicious that the convince stores were targeted,... had it been done earlier the evidence could have been destroyed...

but why not just destroy a persons' livelihood anyways just for spite?

More than two dozen people blocked off the store with cars early Saturday, then officers commanded them through loudspeakers to free it up.

Instead, bottles flew, mayhem erupted, and looters ransacked the store, which the owner had boarded up. It was the first of at least three stores raided.

Looters ran out of shops with boxes stacked in their arms up to their chins. Behind them lay overturned shelves, spilled goods and wrecked displays. All the while, police stayed back by their armored vehicles and observed but did not stop them.

it isn't about racism...

it is about celebrating thugs... and about supporting law enforcement...

another "eyewitness"

WARNING... the language is vulgar and blunt, and the dead body is still in the street at the link.

The video was taken in the aftermath of the shooting, and judging from the comments attributed to the uploader -although he was not a direct witness- he felt the video was affirmational toward Mike Brown and the anti-police narrative.

However, probably unknown -or at least unnoticed- in the background of the video you can hear an audio conversation of a male eye witness to the shooting itself describing what he saw to another curious male spectator. Again, the conversation of importance is in the background.

http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2014/08/15/exceptional-catch-the-jj-witness-video-eye-witness-audio-of-mike-brown-shooting-sharing-brown-doubled-back-toward-police/

Again, the conversation to focus on is in the background - Here’s the video and my seriously rough attempt at transcription, the important part is at 06:28 point: [ "#2" is the male eye witness ]

#1 How’d he get from there to there?

#2 Because he ran, the police was still in the truck – cause he was like over the truck

{crosstalk}

#2 But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran – the police got out and ran after him

{crosstalk}

#2 Then the next thing I know he coming back toward him cus - the police had his gun drawn already on him –

#1. Oh, the police got his gun

#2 The police kept dumpin on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like – be like – but he kept coming toward him

{crosstalk}

#2 Police fired shots – the next thing I know – the police was missing

#1 The Police?

#2 The Police shot him

#1 Police?

#2 The next thing I know … I’m thinking … the dude started running … (garbled something about “he took it from him”)

I guess we could wait to see what another night of rioting brings out.. or take it from an eyewitness...

as the Riots continued to the point the democrat Governor is calling the National guard, we now have more witness accounts coming out..

The second piece of video that I think you should focus in on comes at the 8:18 mark and runs until 8:45 (or so).

Again a voice in the background is giving testimony to what they “saw” happen. A man’s voice can be heard saying, “I heard one, and then four and then 4 more... and he was still standing, so I thought he missed... then he kept coming at him...and then he broke off running… and his partner ran through here…"

many of the reports coming out have "destroyed" the news witnesses..
