Well worth the 2 minutes it takes to read this, in fact everyone in this country should read this...... Some should read it a 1/2 dozen times...
The lady who wrote this letter is Pam Foster of Pamela Foster and Associates in Atlanta. She's been in business since 1980 doing interior design and home planning. She recently wrote the following letter to a family member serving in Iraq . Check it out!

WHAT'S ALL OF THE FUSS?
"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children not die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day? And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime In Saudi Arabia.
I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling, slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range Of their suicide bombs.
I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave Marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ---- you got it, I DON'T CARE!
If you agree with this view point, pass this on to all your e-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior! If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great country.

You know, SteveC, I spent 6 years of my life in the military doing my small part so that you could have the right to espouse your babble. If you appreciate your opportunity to run your mouth then act like it. If not, then I suggest you get your whiney a$$ out of this great country and go somewhere they might appreciate your kind, if there is such a place.

Great post FH.

We are Irish and Native American. My brother served Fifteen years with the Department of Defense, he took an oath to defend this country against all enemies both foreign and domestic. We are fighting domestic enemies not foreign this time…………..

Iraq Bases Spur Questions Over US Plans

March 31, 2006 - The Pentagon has requested hundreds of millions of dollars in emergency funds for military construction in Iraq, fanning the debate about US long-term intentions there. The money will add to an existing bill of $1.3bn for military construction in the Middle East and South Asia - primarily Iraq and Afghanistan - in the last five years. Much of the 2006 emergency funding is earmarked for beefing up security and facilities at just a handful of large airbases in Iraq. This has prompted some to wonder whether the US has plans to maintain a permanent military presence - something the government has repeatedly denied.

So why are we moving into Iraq ?

Maybe it's because our King has decided to attack Iran, which would place us into a "Third World War!"

Thee countries at war constitutes a world war
(US, Iraq, Iran)

As you know..... War is money for those of us who can get it!

Just curious if anyone actually knows the percent of GDP being spent on defense. I heard that it was 3% under Clinton and now it's 4%, but haven't taken time to try to verify these numbers.

Well.....we are the largest contributers. Have you ever read the small print on those social security reports. Get out your magnify glasses and take a look. It tells us that this is what we will get by the time we retire. Usually in the 800.00 range for most of us...... In minute print it says there may not be any social security by the time we are ready to collect.

But this is the most interesting information that we have came across yet.....

Social security was written up in design as an income tax, but it was hidden to get it passed and desguised as welfare for American's. By the constitution only taxes can be taken for paying off the countries debts and welfare for the people. So I am going to go to my employer with a written statement that I no longer want to participate in social security. For every 4 paying in ...2 are paid out and once this number changes social security is gone and it becomes just a tax.
