I was outside this afternoon, wind has dropped, sun is shining, and I thought -30 C was quite pleasant actually. I must be a true Saskatchewanian!

YES we are, if we are still invited. And we can go to rodeos, too.
Hauled my daughter to rodeos from the time she was 5 to when she
graduated from high school. Been there, done that...loved every minute.

You'll have to let me know when your thinking of coming-we can't rodeo and fish on the same weekend lol. Unless you head up and meet us at Estevan-we fished a bit there between perfs. The good fishing is in God's country about 400 miles north of there though.

On cold weather I will agree with ya'll.

But , get yerself down here when it's 102F in the shade and say that!!!!
 I will admit,I'd pick -52 anyday over 102F

When it is 102 in the hay field and that afternoon sun is baking your brain and the humidity is around 95% I still thank the lord it ain't -52.

I think the boys are starting to think I am getting old. I got to drive the hay truck last year while getting up bales.
If you think about it I am right back where I started. When I was 10 I was driving the truck then by 15 I was stacking on the truck. by 18 I was walking and throwing bales up on the truck. by 40 I was back to stacking on the truck. Now at fifty I get to drive again. In a few more years I can sit in the pick-up in the shade and guard the water cooler.
But I still ain't living north of I-20 and frezing my butt off.

Yep-- I can't stand that heat either...

We had a warmup during the night- It was -20 about 6PM and the temp slowly crept up to -11 by this morning...But it is snowing blowing and drifting again- but this time the wind is coming exactly opposite of before - now out of the ESE at 20-25 and the chill factor is -40 again... Hopefully it blows the hills bare and the coulees full...

Weather boys say the warmth should move back in tomorrow as this arctic front moves east and south---and predicting highs of 15 to 20 ABOVE.....

We had a windchill of -52 this morning here. If that wasn't bad enough, I did a dumb thing and converted it from Celsius to Farenheit.

Worked out to -61!!!!! :help: :help:

I never should have done that.

Now that's cold!!!! I helped out today at the best friend's, and if I stayed out of the wind, I was fine. Sun was shining, and you could actually feel warmth in it. Only one way to look at this folks, only two more months and it's spring! (We hope.)
