Thanks for taking us along, Justin. Good job, looks like to me.
Cattle look good, calves look BIG...

Ranchers here that sold to order buyers in the country have started
sending their calves out. Wow, the weights are terrific. Two different
customers calves have weighed 675 lbs. and have gone earlier
than usual. One ranch is north and
east of town and the other one is south of town. Doin' the dance
of joy tonight. It's been quite a good year!

I wish everyone good prices and good weights and good health on their
calves!!

not sure if I need glasses or not?

3rd pic, fence/barrier in the background, is built with large squares, correct? I can only distinquish a color change in the one bale, almost 2.

I've done the same in the past for temporary alleyways. (used round and square)

enjoyed the pics

what that is, is super-steel that is about 8 ft. high. it might be easier to see over the top of the cattle in the 4th and 5th pic.

From a distance the supersteel does kinda look like bales.

Justin, do you cover the ends of the supersteel to blunt any sharp edges sticking out? Neighbors have put conveyor belting over the edges on some of theirs. If the cattle get to crowding too fast and too hard through a gate there is a potential for some nasty injury.

Those were my thoughts also. :D

Justin, you've got too much grass, do you think your organic cows would socialize with a couple loads of ordinary old swamp cows for the winter?
