It sounds like workplace violence.. one actual shooter,. and alot of confusion.. but the facts and stories are not adding up yet...
At least seven people are dead after as many as three shooters dressed in military style uniforms opened fire in a rampage at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday, police said, spreading fear and chaos across the region as authorities tried to contain the incident.

Lanier described one as a white male wearing what appeared to be a khaki tan military uniform and a beret, and carrying a handgun. She said police also are looking for a black man, about 50, wearing an olive military-style uniform, and possessing a “long gun.”

Authorities have confirmed at least seven fatalities, including the shooter. The dead shooter had an assault rifle and a handgun, two law enforcement officials said. One said he also had a shotgun.

At least two police officers were among those shot.
Police on the scene said one is a D.C. Metropolitan Police officer who was shot twice in the leg and was evacuated to a hospital. The other was a base officer.

the dead shooter is apparently a black male in his 50s

He was about 40 yards away but close enough for them to see he was clad in blue and had a weapon.

"He was a tall man, appeared to have dark skin, looked like he was in some kind of uniform and he had a rifle," Durham said.

"No words. He raised the gun and started firing," he said. "He said nothing."

It isn't your average base full of military... but one with a large civilian workforce and lots of brass..

And within minutes we had this:

HOMELAND: 'No known connection to terrorism'...

WTF, of course there's no known connection to terrorism....there's no known connection to ANYTHING in the chaos of such events.

Why not: HOMELAND: No known connection to florinated water....or No known connection to tea baggers?

or No known connection to tea baggers?

you can't say that,.. becasue the Tea Party is known to have "direct" connections to terrorists..

didn't you get one of the Memos?

if not contact a friend who has a relative who knows this.. or lives in the DC area and has "extensive knowledge" of this well advised memo..

seriously.. there are now 11 innocent people dead... and some folk can't help but make cover for terrorists..

as was just said.. don't rush to judgement... by this lady...

I do find it interesting how the media follows some facts,.. yet ignores others..
BREAKING: NBC News identifies the suspect in the Washington D. C. Navy Yard shooting as Aaron Alexis, 34, originally of Ft. Worth, Texas.

The dead gunman in Monday’s shooting at the Washington Navy Yard is Aaron Alexis, 34, a native of Brooklyn who lived until recently in Texas, according to law enforcement sources.

Alexis lived in Seattle and in Fort Worth, Texas, according to public records. He appears to have served in the Navy, but it is unclear whether he was still on active duty.

let see,.. Brooklyn, Texas, Seattle.. just pick Texas.. it is scarey and the others are liberal cities.. and they don't have guns...

Authorities are still searching for another possible suspect: a black man in his 40s with gray sideburns, wearing an olive-drab military-style uniform.

I guess if you wait for the facts,.. it would be old news and no one would report on it...
