I was coming home from a bull sale today and I saw pivot running west of Valentine, Ne. He's a friend of mine, from the looks of the field it might have been rye or triticale or something like that because there were cows on the field. Seems kind of early to be watering but they haven't had any moisture all winter. I tried fixing some fence today but I refuse to pull wires out of snow drifts to fix fence unless I have to. There are some drifts that are still 5-6 feet deep. One year I fixed fence this time of year and had to do it all over again after an April blizzard.
