We need more Liberals

I never thought I would say it but I think we need more Liberals on here. The current ones are getting boring with the same old I hate GW agenda. I like to be challenged to think on issues not read the same old regurgitation of Bush bashing.

I think this is also why the Democrats will loose in the Presidential election, they can not bring new ideas all they can do is run against what Bush has did the last 7 years.

IT IS ALL THE FAULT OF GW !!!

it is all the fault of GW

I feel safer from terrorists, I think Iraq is better off, Lybia dimantled it's arms program, Iran stopped building nukes, North Korea is backing down, and Bin Laden sounds like he has less influence than before......

The Libs are missing that point, were Iran quit its Nuclear weapons program in 2003 due to the pressure of GW. What a great accomplishment, I wonder if he will be nominated for the Nobel Peace prize?

Jigs, I do think you have a good point here. The man may be a good moral man with Christian values. The problem then becomes competence and the competence of his political appointees to actually look out for the public interest instead of corporate interests. GW may not be smart enough when it comes to his "picker" -- look at Putin, Muscharef, the generals he decides to believe, Brownie, etc.

I personally believe he delegates this responsibility to people who have no morals and feel that truth is subjective like Karl Rove and some of the republican leadership in the House and Senate. These people are responsible for not holding government accountable in fulfilling its public interest responsibilities and instead sold out to K street.

But isn't it admirable that Bush and his appointees got the Iranians to stop their Nuclear weapons program in only 3 years in office?

Incredible what having the largest military in the world on both sides of your country will do.

I hope GW has learned that he will get a lot further and at less cost by not actually attacking Iran.

I just hope that Iran learned from Iraq that they better obey the rules. And not force us to attack them like we did Iraq.
