Into the home corral, where several bale rings are loaded with hay. The cows are locked up about a mile away from where
they last saw their calves.

The heifer calves back where we sorted. They have access to pretty good fresh grass. I also rolled out one bale of alfalfa
and one bale of nice meadow hay. There is music in the air tonight--what could be considered as a bovine ballad.

That Music may be a bovine version of "Thank God and Greyhound, She's Gone!"

I open wire gates from a horse, but it is as easy for this discombobulated ol' goat to just get off to shut them.
