I've looked through alot of Diven's stuff, even tried to take his course. But it fell when I was working. Not the end of the world if i don't though. We were low cost before I'd ever heard of the man. I'm not familiar with all that he teaches, but we've done fine. From what I've read, he pushes supplementing the animals with alot of minerals/ vitamins. I tend to agree with Northern on this one - I will not let my cows suffer if they're lacking something - but I believe we need to let our animals adapt to what resources are available on the ranch. I do however also believe that one who does not strive to improve their pastures, does not care for their stock, because the healthier we build our soils, the healthier we'll see the stock. I too, am a student of Dr. Albrecht.
