I was an idiot tho 26 Should have had him investigated by FBI.. lasted 8 years- he found out he couldn't hit me,so started on the kids.."He just fell-handprint,what handprint" just works so many times..Anyhow,got out..My folks were married 58 years..would have been longer, but mom died, then next year,so did dad... Too many kids are moveing in together..Can't see what she gets out of the arrangement(dumb I guess<me I mean)

Yup, Just flipped my hubby the bird this morning feeding calves.. When you say hay..... You mean hay...... Not alfalfa by the gate...... Sheese... I am no mind reader..

I get the same reaction from Grandma a couple times a week when I give her some "smart" advice- must be the reason we've got along so well for 31 years......

We'll be 42 years married next July which doesn't seem possible until we look at our almost 40 yr old son. It has been thankfully a happy marriage despite some of the usual struggles of life none are immune to. Why so many kids today can't see the value of commitment is beyond me. The Hollywood junk-life has tainted their minds I do believe.

I just went to my Aunt and uncles 50th... Big old family they have and I still think they are very much in love... Fun family to be around.. Something like 20 grandkids and the great grandkids are getting ready to start soon (Hard to believe my cousins kids are that old.. I mean, they were just born last week, right?).. My folks have been married 40 years now and my Dads parents have been maried past 60 years now... Probably closing in on 70... Good god, that is a long time but when you hit 91 like Grandpa I guess all of your milestones are big ones.

Me... We just cruised by our 6 year mark on Sunday.. Been together more than 14 years but we just took our time tieing the noose... er knot

I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones...both of our grandparents were married 50+yrs...and last year on our 20th annv. we took a cruise with our son to Mexico and he asked me to marry him again..so did the renewal vows on the ship...It was so impressive and fun to have our son witness the ceremony. So I'm guessing that since we got "married" all over again..he'll keep me around for a long time...Congradulations to all happily married couples!

I think my moms folks would still be married if they were alive but they died around the time they turned 62 so had only been married for 30 years or so.. Died before I was even born..
