It was a very nice place and location for the wedding. It is called "The Barn," and is located in Littleton. I haven't been able to find out any history, but it is a refurbished old ranch site. I am wondering if it might be The Home Ranch, which author Ralph Moody writes about in his book by the same name. He also wrote Little Britches and other books. A lot of these happenings took place in this area, which was ranch land just south of Denver.

Ralph Moody was the guest of honor in the Cherry County Library, Valentine, Nebraska for a book signing when I was a kid. Having read several of his books, I really wanted to attend. Mom was willing to take us little urchins, but since it was a good July hay day, Dad over-ruled and we spent the day in the hay field. Oh well, such is life. :) After all, there is an old adage to "make hay while the sun shines," and it is generally very good advice.
