Weird Deal

We did a bunch of yearlings the other day. Had one set of horns to take off-Ty used the gougers and took them pretty deep-the funny thing was it didn't bleed more than a few drops_I've never seen that happen before.

Quite often using the gougers when done properly which is "Quite deep" they pull the arteries out when taking the horn. Otherwise you need to use a pair of forceps to pull the arteries to control bleeding .
Being to shallow when using them can be a bad mess.
