Yep- welcome aboard-- and ask old Hanta who told her what her annointed hero/leader was going to do to our economy 3 years ago :???: And was chastised dearly for even questioning such a thing..

Looks like the hot air is getting the last laugh...

Apparently he registered and is out admiring the best set of Char X calves in the area. He and his son just left yesterday with a pickup full of moose.

Careful of the puns NR. How did those little scrubs of the Diamond J's sell? Did they keep them under 1000#s this year?

Phone Dale up and tell him you heard he was looking for a bike to buy-he had a bit of a run in with the gendarmes lol. I couldn't resist that one-had to beat Soapweed to it-Ty is going after archery moose on Monday I guess.

Please be gentle. It is my first time.Actually we are very green in the whole computer business as we were mostly trying to avoid them till we saw them as a tool.Yes we are sort of neighbors with gcreek as ranchers but there is about 200 miles of distance and over 2000 feet of elevation beetween us.I guess an addiction to cattle is what makes us all neighbors and brings us to this room. I hope the coffee is good.

Welcome as well from Alberta. By your definition of neighbours I guess we are yours too. Not sure of your elevation but all that stands between us is a few mountain ranges and a 13 hour drive.

Hello all. We went to a local dinner last night put on by the B.C. Livestock Co-op.The keynote speaker was representing Agribeef in Washington State. They source a lot of feeder cattle from the Pacific Northwest as far east as Utah and north into B.C. and Alberta. He claims to have his finger on the pulse on both sides of the border and as his company's risk manager I supose he does.Between the federal governments tunnelvision approach to subsidising the ethanol industry on both sides of the border and the unstable american economy of late, the light at the end of the tunnel has been exstinguished for the forseeable future for any primary producers that aren't within a stones throw of the corn patch. On a lighter note,we grew a good garden this year, have lots of feed for the cattle and a moose for the freezer. This is the best business to be in on the best continent on the planet and we are survivers.Love the people-----hate the politics. Cheers Clint.
