This afternoon we (our son and I) were gonna go Computer shoppin, I was goin more to just look since I didn't have quite the money saved up yet that I wanted. He on the other hand, had different ideas. Unknowin to me, he planned on buyin one today. And that he did. A nice one.
It is his....and I still plan on gettin one of my own. But until then, I can use his to upload my photos from my camera, and share em!!! Yeahhhhh he's such a good kid. LOL Nice of him huh?
Anyway, out of the thousands of pictures I've taken since the laptop has been down, I just chose a few to share.

Those are beautiful pictures, Jersey Lilly. Every one of them could be a contest winner. The wait was worth it, but please don't make us wait so long again. :)

Love em Lilly......... The oil rig one brings back alot of memories because when I was living and working in Kimball Ne.. I used to wash clothes for extra money for the oil guys on my block..... Two guys from Haliburton was my neighbors.... A couple of really great guys....

The guys on my block all worked together and the boss would load everyone up in a micro-mini bus to go to work...... And they would stop at a small town in Wyoming and get a mixed drink to go... on the way home... Always amused me......... :D :D

Don't envy you a bit doin oilfield laundry Katrina. I've done enuff loads of grease/oil covered clothes to last me a lifetime. My Dad worked for Halliburton, and Mr Lilly worked in the oil field too when we first married. Uhggggg we had such pitiful water in west texas that the only way you could get stuff half way clean was to saturate it with Spray n Wash before you put it in the washer. Then you had to wash with the hottest water you could in hopes that you could melt some of it away. Then if there were area's you missed with the spray n wash you had to wash it again to get it out. Many times when Mr Lilly walked in the door from work the only part that was recognizable was the whites of his eyes...everthang else was obliterated by oilfield muck.
I don't mind plain ole mechanic "dirty" but that oilfield stuff is hard to get out. Drillin mud and grease combined I think would be the equivelant of concrete for clothes LOL

Lilly,
They took all there oil clothes to the laundrymat........ They had machines for just that type of things....... Most of the clothes I washed were street clothes.... All were single except for the foreman......
I do have a funny though......
Somebody blew up the laundry mat with coveralls...... Everyone knew who did it cuz he was the one who showed up to work with new coveralls!!!

Many moons ago, my mama blew up her own washin machine. Dad had some workpants that had gasoline on em. And when she shut the lid, and the lil button thing engaged to make the machine work.....Cah Blewwwwyyyyy. Blew the front end off the washer, and singed mom's hair.

(who says housework aint dangerous??? LOL)

Super shots, Lily. One swipe of that huge mowing machine would about do our front yard!
Especially like that birdhouse plus vine.

Actually the spiders that build those webs ain't much bigger than a pencil eraser. And they look like a crab kinda, they even have a hard shell.....without the claws tho lol. I call em crab spiders.....some folks call em soldier spiders. They to build their webs right at eye level. I never see em tho cuz when I'm out messin around, I'm lookin at where I'm goin on the ground (snakes ya know) and run into them......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate em for that reason alone. I guess they catch lots of bugs......and that's a good thang......

Thanks for all the nice comments ya'll :D
