Our president likes to tell us that when there are enough Iraqi police and military to defend that country, our troops can come home. But this "Report to Congress" says otherwise. Check out page 6. Excerpt, link below; my emphasis.
“While [the Multi-National Security Transition Command in Iraq] is making progress training and equipping the ISF [Iraqi Security Forces] and the ISF are assuming increased resonsibilities, there is no deterministic relationship between increasing numbers of trained and equipped Iraqi forces or increasing control of battle space by Iraqi units and any associated drawdown of U.S. forces."
Bush gotcha again, didn't he?
