This also brings up a sore topic about "catching" wildlife and bringing them home. Marine son, many years ago, we had an abundance of chipmunks. They took all the corn from our corn bin and put it in the holes where the gate latch went into the posts, put it into the heater vents of the ranch trucks, etc etc. I'll tell you, it took a day to get the corn out of the vents of the trucks. I just couldn't believe how fast they refilled the vents!!!!!! WELLLLLL, Marine son caught a chipmunk, thought it would be cool to put it in a "cage" we had. Now, don't forget this is ALL AGAINST MY WISHES! I had just purchased a new sectional couch that week. He brought the chipmunk into the house, it got out, made a burrow in my NEW SECTIONAL COUCH I JUST BOUGHT. Every morning for a number of mornings the little p**** would be in the windowsill, "chang chang chang chang" is the noise it would make, they finally caught the little bugger and got him out of the house but I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Pi**ed that sw actually sewed the hole in MY NEW COUCH with his own hands. I think I like turtles sooooo much better. Chipmunks are BURROWING animals and they will definitely BURROW in your FURNITURE.
I just hope no one will bring home a baby BADGER!!!!
