Since when did Wally move to Montana???? I swear that cat looks just like my cat!!!!!

That's our Beri cat, he's quite old, maybe 12 or 13 yrs old, and quite the gentleman - He will be sorely missed when it becomes his "time". We got him from a lady in Billings who had a houseful of animals - smelly, gross, dirty house, anyway, she claimed he was an African Wildcat, she called him "Siberia" he was at least a year old when we brought him home. One of the best cats I've ever had - all our cats are outdoor cats, he's good hunting in the stack yard...

I caught two large turtles last weekend in the pond, they both took chicken livers intended for catfish,I had to cut through the hooks to release the turtles safely. The African wildcat has grey stripes but looks like the common domestic cat in all other respects (being ancestral to the domestic). The main threat to the true wildcat has been the hybridisation by domestic cats creating mongrel feral type cats of no particular phenotype.
