Went to a branding today

Faster horses

These are calves that went through the three weeks of storms in this area. They are sired by Milk Creek Reds bulls. I thought they looked
really good is spite of surviving some tough conditions:

To me, this is a real kids horse. He's over 20 years old, has been a
great ranch horse--been there, done that--now he deserves to be a kids horse--and the kids love him.

A few of the cows. These are owned by a commercial man and sired by Milk Creek Red bulls. They are good employees. :)

Looked like a nice day for a branding. Great appearing cattle. Thanks for the pictures. Hope your storm tonight doesn't get too bad.

I was supposed to go to a branding today and ended up working on a power outage in the rain! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: Glad somebody had fun! Looks like some nice red calves, a panting blue dog and the smell of burnt hair is what i missed! :D Thanks for packin' a camera!

You should never complain about the opportunity to make a little money. :wink:
Saturdays are time and a half, aren't they? :D

Those are some darn good red cattle FH. Mr. FH's saddle looks like it could tell some good stories. Thanks for taking me along.

Good cattle and I like Mr FH's horse! The heeler has a unique hair pattern happening.
I can't wait for branding season to start here!

I like Mr. FH horse too--since I'm the one who found him. We've had him going on 4 years now, so I guess he's a keeper. He's a Zan Parr Bar...

The heeler is half Austrailian Shepherd and he's a BIG DOG!

Those sure are good lookin calves,I like Mr FH,horse too,lots of vehicles there so it looks like yall had lots of help....................good luck & thanx for the picture story.

Lots of help, for sure. Sometimes you can have too much help. :p

No, those aren't my grandkids. I wish they were. I have only one
and he's going to be 15 in August.
