This is the local tribal web site . Looks like that Westboro bunch is at it again in full force.

I wonder if some of the ex & present day Marines and just plain good ol' boys from the "boundary" will go over and ' visit'  them?

Is Camp Lejuene on the reservation? A "sovereign nation"? I remember years ago when several of the AIM movement members started burning the American flags in front of the VFW building -- several of the tribal veterans took care of the problem right handily...I did nothing-since I had no jurisdiction over "tribal members"- the tribal police all were "busy" on the other end of the rez- and I'd swear the old guy thumping the hardest on them was the "tribal judge" (a WWII vet- that served in the same unit as my Dad)...Next day all he'd do is grin- and say we take care of our own problems- as he rubbed his sore knuckles

Never had a problem one from them from that day on...

No, LeJune is NOT on the Qualla Boundary....in fact quiet a bit away from it on the other side of the state !!

But distance never stopped a good fight!!

There are A LOT of tribal members who are or were Marines. Next would come Navy...then Army...then AirForce.
