I have eaten many a Western Burger.

How can one get the recipe or a book with it in it? Also how do you rate the Western Burger?

According to the “What’s Cookin’?” cookbook that features the popular recipe, a Western Burger starts with bread dough that rises until it doubles, then is pinched off into balls that are rolled into a circle and piled high with hamburger meat that’s been seasoned with onions, mustard and cheese. The roll is folded around the meat and baked.

The finished product looks like a large roll, but one bite reveals the tasty center of cheesy beef.

Personally, I think they are very tasty. When I was in school they made them with white bread. I hear now it is wheat bread, but that they brought back white bread for this fund raiser deal. I didn't go. Just saw it online.
