Great Pictures! I love the close-ups of the horses, and the action shot of the calf running back. You really have a talent with the camera :D .

Wish we could get some of your moisture... dragged meadows this morning in the dust  . Maybe the next storm will hit here.

Great pictures! We were supposed to brand yeasterday too. Due to snow and wind we cancelled. We were able to get it done today. I didn't take as many pictures as I'd have liked as I had main components of the meal i was responsible for this year.

Those are some great pictures. I really loved them.

Husband was at a branding this weekend, I had already been commited elsewhere, but a friend of ours was riding like those two guys chasing calves, but his horse suddenly bucked at the point of a hill and he fell around 9 feet into a ditch. Tore some ligaments in his shoulder. Talked to him this morning and he's pretty sore.

We branded on saturday. It started raining about the time the first calf was caught by the end it looked like a mud wrestleing contest. We had snow after we were done so it was cold and miserable but we got them done.Yours looked a little drier but chilly also.

Great shots as always. That one of the horses breath is really the only one that shows it was cold (other than the jackets).... Don't look like it was too wet tho...where's the mud? LOL Glad ya'll had a good weekend with your kiddo home.
