Wet Morning

Just got our power back on. Went out at 7:20 this morning.
Started raining yesterday afternoon and turned to snow after it got dark. Got an inch of slush on the ground.
The snow was so heavy and wet it snapped the power line in our area in 6 places.
Poor lineman had the first break just repaired when he was told that the line had just snapped father up.

Yep- we've been raining, misting or snaining all day long- picked up about 3/10ths... My pump quit on me today- and I had to get a new pressure gauge and pressure switch brought out...Fellow that delivered it to me said that they had 6-8 inches of new 'wet" snow near Peerless- and numerous power outages... I know I lost internet service a couple of times- and I think that comes thru Scobey.....

We received six tenths of an inch of moisture today in a combination of rain and snow. The snow has now let up but the ground is white. The wind continues to blow, and occasionally the moon is visible as the clouds pass by. The temperature will probably get pretty nippy tonight, but registers 34 degrees at the moment.

Got about 3 to 4" of snow last night, but 8km up the road there was none :p . I guess we're special  I get everything except what I want
I was gonna take pics of the snow here this morning, but left home before daybreak, just got home and its gettin' too dark now to take pics. I want my long daylight days again :? . I'm tired of snow already and this is the first 'real' snow we've gotten.... hopefully it disappears in the next couple of days.

Happy to get 5 or 6 inches here. The grass is much more palatable and the dust needed to be washed off, not to mention the fire hazard during hunting season. Days are rather short though. Have to get going at first light to get anything done. :D

You should have been driving down the road to the bus stop this afternoon. It was a river.

Make sure you get that Japanese Quarter horse put in the barn and not left out to back into the wind like last winter.

Was 44 degrees yesterday. Funny thing drove to town and the snow just disappeared the closer to town I got. 5 miles from home, no snow at all.
Got a light rain last night.

How nice kola. When we get a chinook, warm wind, I open my house all up to air it out especially in the winter.
