We move equipment across the Saskatchewan River which is a pretty big valley here. My father in law was coming across early one morning and thought it would be fun to kick his 875 versatile out of gear. Guess it was fun for about 20 seconds and utterly terrifying for the next minute or so.

Dated or not it is a pretty interesting set of pics. There are a few tractor wrecks out there that warrant a look once in a while to remind us of what happens when we're not paying attention.

It was forwarded to me in an email just this week. I had no idea when or where it had occurred. To me the puzzle was how everything ended up in the position it did. I thought someone on Ranchers might know something about it and as it turned out they did. What did you think of the pictures?

The JD air drill sat in Rosetown on the dealer's back lot for the summer; total writeoff.....lots of individual parts but frames were twisted about every way conceivable. Never did hear how the owner made out with insurance.......story was that there was quite an environmental clean-up bill in the creek; spilled fertilizer, treated seed, hydraulic oil & diesel fuel!It took some crane work just to fish the outfit out so everything about this wreck got pricey real fast.
