What a nightmare

WR, our daughter has a friend at Laramie and he told her that a fire
started near there last night and had burned 1000 acres, by this
morning it had grown to 84,000 acres. :shock: That hardly seems
possible, had you heard anything about it?

Stay safe and keep us posted as to what's going on with you. WE CARE!

I hadn't heard about that, seems a little improbable to me. The fire around Wheatland is over 80,000 acres I think, so maybe that's what they're thinking about. They let the C130's back up into the air yesterday afternoon, and they fly DIRECTLY above my house going to and from the Squirrel Creek fire, how lucky can I be! Hopefully the rain will come as predicted.

The rain came, 7/10th last night with more predicted over the weekend . At least we won't have to worry about being burned out for a day or two. I hope others got the moisture too.

That's wonderful news. Our area got some out of that same storm.
Gonna be in the 90's all the rest of the week tho.
