This is a 4 year old Registered purebred Pinzgauer. He's the sire of the calves we've had so far this year. He was also a bottle baby. Any comments are welcome.

Good looking bull. We had Pinzquaer x Hereford cross cows, they were some of the nicest cows we had. Good mothers, milked heavy, nice udders, great temperaments. Had some purebred Pinzquaers that we bought as heifers, those things were the wingiest animals I've had the priviledge of being around! They didn't stay here long. Nothing against Pinzquaers though, I think these ones were just mishandled as youngsters.

Someone had sold us one that was like that. I guess she'd been shown too. We got 2 calves from her then sold her.

Looks alright. I prefer more depth of body and flesh, but he's not a show bull being fed from a bag either is he? He's just an honest, hard-working blue collar ol' boy doing his thing.

Thanks for posting the pic.

He was only shown as a calf, and hasn't had grain since the summer. I'm getting some new show heifers next week, will post pictures of them.
