Now this WILL scare some of you!!

But I don't see PT as a bully.

Yeah, he can be a major pain in the arse!!!

I don't put the ' bully' tag on him.
Although apparently I'm part of the "pack" so what I say may not mean anything but PT is NOT at ALL a bully. But then again I don't find him to be a pain in the arse either,I get a chuckle out of his chain yankin, just like you do Kola. :D

By the way..Welcomeback NN,nice to see your back to your 'OLD' self I was getting worried about you

Thank for for your concern and its ok to think highly of PT,I am sure he has yet to call you a name let alone tried to tell you when not to respond....
No your right he has never done to me any of what you claim hes done to you.But seriously NN,go spend a day in Bull ,there you WILL see some real bullys.

nonothing....PT's called me a few names--liberal being one of them-- and I've surely returned the favor!! I have NO delusions that it will stop any time soon either!!

I don't know if he ' likes' me as you put it...besides that's not the point here.

Ol' PT might can kill ya NN...but he can't eat ya!

When you see he's wrong in your view...call him on it!

I guess we just see his tactics of arguement differently. So because I respect your opinion and open minded attitude I will give him another chance.I will start by extending my hand to PT and asking him to always take the side he believes in but to do it respecrtful way to all who challenge him. That being said I will do the same,it seems many say good things about you PT.Maybe we can bury this, and learn to agree to dissagree when its best and share a laff or two when in agreement.......Extending my hand in a gentleman's handshake.

I been reading these posts of people like nonothing, whining about being bullied, runnin Dis off etc..........My question to them would be what do you expect ? you come on a cattle mans talk forum that is traditionally Conservative with your liberal attitude and sarcastic remarks expecting kindness in return ?
Its my humble opinion you are here to be bullied and or, you are ignorant,as I doubt anyone here will accept your opinion as anything more than pure dee ole bool sheist,I have had my fill of taxes, affirmative action, gun control, minority rights, and the people that promote them.................good luck

Damn girl,if you were spat at,stole from and had rocks thrown at you surely you did not
confuse this as a act of fondness ?
Maybe I was doing it all wrong, because when I seen a pretty girl that I was interested in,I made sure I pushed the right buttons, just seemed to work better  .............good luck

Don't hear alot about Home School shootings and assaults and drug abuse.

Cal do you think there aren't any types of abuses that go in home school environments?? Just curious.

Aren't "any"...get real, what a loaded question. The few that I know of are doing an outstanding job, I applaud their commitment.

I can say the opposite about the majority I know.

The data I have seen says homeschoolers excell when compared to their government schooled counter parts. Do you have any data which says otherwise?

I have to agree that how a child handles being bullied has a lot to do with home life. I was bullied in school and it hurt really bad, but I didn't go shoot anybody and I was of the era that if a boy was mean to you he liked you. My first marriage ended in divorce too. ANYWAY... times have changes and kids have changed. My daughter worked as a para at a middle school and some of those girls were terrible, but the parents can also be a big part of the problem. One of the teachers told me that with one of the "problem children" when she called the parent in, the response was don't call me she is your problem from 8-3:00. I assume this is a rare instance, but it is sad that is happened at all. When we grew up we had respect (ok fear  ) of what our parents would do if we treated someone else without respect. I don't see a lot of that any more. My daughter now works with behavorially challenged students and she legally can't do much but verbally control them.

One of my favorite stories is a friend of mine from college who's mom taught school in a very small town and one day a high school boy got mouthy with her. This lady runs a ranch and is pretty tough. she reached over and cuffed him on the ear. He said I'll have your job for that B###ch. Her response was fine if your taking my job I'm takin you outside and givin you something worth losin my job over. End of confrontation.

it may come as a bit of a suprise, but I had a chair of my very own in the principles office..... while I was there for reasons other than being a bully, I saw a bunch of the school bullies come through.

once, after the "big talk" with one of them, the principle was standing there shaking his head. I told him " you know the difference between me and him?"

he said no, so I told him

" when you threaten us with your punishment, I am too stupid to know you are bluffing, and too affraid to see if my dad is bluffing or not. While that kid, knows you are bluffing, and beats up his dad"

got me out of a weeks worth of detention, he even thanked me for my perspective.

reason I was there in the first place......... trying to make powered skates out of belt sanders in shop class!!!!!!!

damned near worked too !!!!

Jigs I have to agree with you. Used to be parents and the school presented a united front over misconduct and such now to many parents are to busy assuring everyone their little Johnny wouldn't do that to even see the truth of the situation that Johnny was doing it.

When I was in high school I was one of the good kids. Good grades and involved in multiple extra curricular activities. I knew if the school ever called my Mom my social life would be over and I'd be paying for it for months.
