hmmmm yeap you get the same feeling in your stomach. Your heart starts to pound like your in a big group and you know you cant hold it anymore.
But unlike gas you smile ALOT when you see them, hear thier name or voice, even think about them. You stop putting yourself first. Willing to try new things just because they like it. See some of your short comings and are willing to improve them. You start to include them in your plans for this week, next and beyond. You start saying we not me.
Hope that helps :D :D

You think about them all the time. You might even forget other obligations (my grades dropped when the lesser half and I first started going together. ) Everyone else pales in comparison. There's no one you'd rather spend time with. You find yourself observing the world and wondering what s/he'll think when you share it with them...

Or rather this is all associated with falling in love.
Being in love isn't quite as distracting. It's more... comfortable, I guess. It becomes a part of who you are and how you deal with life around you.

Well said HMW,being in love is way nicer then falling in love,at least your brain is fully functioning,   I especially like the part about"who you are and how you deal with life around you"Angus isn't ready for that yet bUT is the best part of the love thing!!

I heard on the radio today that soon there will be more step-families than traditional, just so you realize that there is a whole lot more to it long term than just the butterflies and raging hormones. I think every young person should be sat down and made to listen to endless dialogue with Dr. Laura...or at least read her applicable book.

I hesitate to take too much advice on marriage from people who have been divorced (and apparently caused another).
Better options to me seem to be people like grandparents who still show outward signs of liking each other after a few decades together.

Your grandparents LIKED each other?????

With a set of mine...you'd think the " war of Northern Aggression" had broken out again.

I don't think Granny ever had a full set of matching plates...she was always throwing them @ somebody!!!

*chuckle*

There's a reason I had the part about still showing outward signs of liking each other.

Yes. :)

For me, real-life successes have always beat the pants off suggestions from the Dr. Lauras of the world.
Smile when you realize that not only did your show your children a healthy example, but you're now doing the same for your grandchildren.
