Wyoming Rancher came and visited us!!! She got here about 1:00 on monday and left this morning. We had a great time. She is a lovely person and alot of fun to be around. We introduced to some friends, and they said "are you sure you two have never met before?" :p

We took a steer and a bull up to the cows

Rode some more, here at home the next day. Did some sight seeing and 'watched' Mike fix some fence. Really had a ball :D :D She is the first person from Ranchers that I have met in person.

This morning just before she left

It is way cool meeting someone from one of these boards. I have met a couple people from another a forum I frequent. It's always nice to meet fella agriculturalists. I know Blk Buckaroo because I have sold him some hay in the past.

Good for you, glad you had a good time.

Thanks for the photos stranger. :D

Kind of a 'test run' to see how many times I have log in per post...

Actually hasn't been too bad.

Thanks again Nicky for hosting me, I had a great time! :D I'm now seriously considering a walking horse after riding yours, they sure cover the ground, SMOOTHLY! I also would like a few of your heifers, hate to bring just a part load home   .

I've gotten to meet a few Rancher.net posters, and it has always been interesting, and most times a great experience. Nicky and Mike are as nice and genuine of people as you'll ever meet, and it was like we've known each other for years. This board is a great tool for making contacts and good friends, and we're all lucky for this resource  :D .

I'll post more pics soon :D .

I was very fascinated by this... doesn't take much to entertain me I guess

I got to work alongside Jill, she is a very good dog. I'm glad she was along since I wasn't too excited about having to ride off into the rocks or up or down steep hillsides :D.

Okay, okay... now for some cattle pics. These are VERY nice cattle, and I wished I lived a bit closer, I'd be trying some heifers out

Thanks for the pics, WR. When I first looked at the pic of the overpass, the way the pic was shaded I thought the Oregon sign had a giant roll of toilet paper on it :!: Then I saw the wheels of the covered wagon.

Does the wire basket full of rocks give you potential fencing ideas you might be able to use at home? :p

It does look like a roll of TP.

On ranch close by has used a few of those cages full of rocks . We have a couple. Up here they are usually bigger around.

I had to go to Idaho today to pick up chukars, so I made sure to look at the sign on my way back...in real life it does not look like a roll of toilet paper 8)

Our rocks come in ALL sizes!!!
