To show how out of touch from the American people these Republican delegates are A CBS News/New York Times survey released on the cusp of the Republican National Convention found that nearly 80 percent of Republican delegates approve of Mr. Bush's performance as president, an approval rating more than 50 percentage points higher than his approval rating among all Americans, which stands at 28 percent.

While 80% of delegates (the old white fogies country clubbers) support Bush- his approval rating among Republicans overall is only 63 percent.
