What's going on with gas prices in your part of the country

I was close to Dayton Ohio tonight & Reg. Gas is down to $3.16 a gallon. That is a .40 drop in about 10 days. Is Obama pulling the wool over us again right before the election ? I'm betting it gets under $3.00 by Nov. 6th. Amazing......... :???: :???:

$3.69 here but $3.31 just up the road. No excuse for this except that the locals will screw you as long as they can. And they wonder why so many don't shop locally.

$3.89 for Unleaded (It just dropped from $4.00)
$4.04 for Diesel

And we are in the middle of an oil patch. :x So you tell me why.....???
we have the highest price gas in Montana. Most everyone knows to
fill up somewhere before they get here!

Well, oil patch doesn't necessarily translate to "refineries nearby".

Of course, sometimes gasoline pricing makes as much sense as pricing airline tickets.

Yep. We are in a very remote area BUT there is a smaller town south of us and one north of us and both places have cheaper gas. Our town has it's
own littl cartel. We do like to shop locally but we can't get our bulk fuel
locally. We can get it cheaper 80 miles away. Crazy huh? They bring it in a truck here 80 miles and it's cheaper than what we can buy in town!

I can do better than that Fast Horses, up here in the Northeast Montana where according to Oldtimer all is great I paid $3.999 yesterday in Plentywood. :?

Oh and when I was in Regina the other day I paid 1.299/liter and the Refinery is just north of the city. Thank goodness for the 20 cent a liter off due to the card Nissan gave us when we bought our new truck.

Farm fuel here is $3.39 while on-road fuel is $3.89.

It must be those pesky "Speculators"?
