I got this message in Facebook, and thought it was entertaining. What are the first 10 mixed songs on your i-pod? Mine are hilarious, no wonder I'm nuts... I must say it's pretty representative of my personality :

1. Margaritaville/Jimmy Buffet
2. Elavator/ Flo Rida
3. My Town/Montgomery Gentry
4. Viva la Vida/Coldplay
5. Roughest Neck Around/ Corb Lund Band
6. Serenade/Sarah Brightman
7. Celebration/ Kool and the Gang
8. Capital G/ Nine Inch Nails
9. Big Gun/ AC/DC - actually got to see them in Denver last fall :D.
10. Runnin' Down a Dream/ Tom Petty

I don't have a I POD. I cuss my daughter when she can't hear me because of the darn ear plugs.

I only recognize 1,3 and 5 on your list. Guess I'm not very cosmopolitan in my listening tastes. :?

I'm kinda like BMR, although I do recognize a couple more songs.

I saw AC/DC also--almost 30 years ago. First concert I ever went to. They were the backup band for Cheap Trick.

You are better than me, BMR. I only recognized two and I'm and I'm not totally sure about one of those.

I actually listen to a lot of country, those songs just didn't show up on the first 10 mixed. There really isn't a variety I don't listen too, kinda like my personality and friend choices :D. The only type of music I dislike is 70's rock n' roll, but I do like 70's disco :D. XM radio is great, especially since I don't get good radio where I'm at. I like listening to the i-pod when I'm on the tractor, or when I'm just riding to mess with my horse.

I don't have one either. I see Tom Petty made your top 10, I'm glad to see some one else out there is also a fan. IMO the halftime show at the superbowl, year before last, that featured Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers was a terrific show.

I like your list :D! I've got a lot of George Strait as well. I'm guessing Sarah Brightman is classified as new age, she's like Enya if you're familiar with her.

And Hooks... if you're on the internet, the next step up has to be an i-pod, if you like music anyhow .

I do not own one either.

I believe them to be a safety hazard when driving or operating equipment and am quite strict on their use on the farm if running equipment.

I believe they are a health hazard and not only can, but will damage your hearing as the kids never keep the volume down.

I seldom listen to music. I could be considered a talk radio person I suppose.

I guess I am a dinosaur.

Oh that should be a fun meeting! :D We're starting to see wolves here. The one I saw was trotting through my cattle. When I chased it down to see what it was (thought it was a darn big dog), I was amazed at the size of it . I got about 50 feet from the thing before it dove through the fence. I'll never forget those eyes.
