Where are the Dems now.

The Dems continuely b*tch about the spending Bush did and the deficits he put on the US tax payers BUT CBO came out this morning with the new OBAMA deficit numbers and they claim if things don't change the Deficit will be 1.5 trillion dollars. Where is the b*tching from the left now.

One is setting at his bench playing solitaire on his computer while handing out fines to speeders in his JP court.
One is roping antelope from her Cessna
One is waiting for the mother ship.
One is trying to figure out an intelligent way to get a point across.

None can dispute the fact WE TOLD THEM SO

Wow no wonder Obama jumped on Air Force One and left DC. First the CBO bombshell on the deficit and now it's the Medicare actuary testifing that Obamacare will not likely cut cost and will not allow people to keep their healthcare if they like it. Two of Obama's selling points and both go down in flames in testimony that everyone should have heard BEFORE the vote was taken. This is what you get when you stuff something through and only allow people to learn what is in the bill AFTER IT IS PASSED. Not a good day for Obama.

Do you think it would have mattered if the voters had heard that, before the vote was taken?

We all knew before hand, anyway.

Now that this information is out in a hearing setting and people begin to realize Obama lied to get it through one has to wonder if the repeal support will spike, forcing Obama to relook at the bill and cave to save his skin in 2012.

You've got to remember that obama and the Dems. have increased the numbers that count on the Government for support.

With the number of taxpayers dewindling to, or close to 50%, half the voters are looking for others to pay for their "stuff", cost does not matter to them.

Not everybody is as well-informed as those that take an interest in politics, like us on PB. Sad, but true.

Well something has to be done about the out of control spending/investing and the lieing about what it is really going to cost or there is going to be a rude awakening when the US has no money left to buy the voters support. The riots we have witnessed in the past will be nothing to those that we will witness if welfare and unemployment payments have to stop due to the US being BROKE thanks to another ill planned government entitlement program. US citizens have a bitter pill to swallow and if they don't take it soon they are not going to have much chance of surviving the illness they have been inflicted with. Big Government Spending is going to kill them.

spending/investing

a friend gave this analogy of conservative vs democrat investing.

I invest in new tools for the shop.. my wife says I spent

I invest in a new truck for work, my wife says I spent,

I invest in a new loader, my wife says I spent,

my wife invest in a new dress.. I say she spent.

my wife invested in new curtains, I say she spent,

my wife invested in a new closet organizer. I say she spent

My wife is a democrat :?

invest. it will make you more money, more productive,

spending.. I just wanted it?

Well that is one way to look at it Steve but I think we need a bit more info to know who is really spending and who is investing here.

As if your friend's tools, truck, and loader are all new and he wants to buy newer ones as the neighbor just out did him status wise, then the wife is right he spent.

On the other hand if his wife wants to buy a new set of curtains to stop the rising cost of the home heating and cooling bills. Or wants to buy a new dress so she looks a bit more professional at her job which might land her a promotion and pay raise or wants to buy a new closest organizer as the old one is at risk of coming down on her head and injuring her, One might say the wife is right again as she invested to save money, make more income or save injury that might have cause her to miss work and cause a lose in income.

The motive behind the spending is what makes it Spending verse Investing. And sometimes even the man's claimed "investing" is nothing more than pure un-necessary spending.

Obama was told by the voters he was to knock off the SPENDING and CUT SPENDING , so what did he do, he used the catch phrase INVESTING in the SOTUA. I believe he thinks the voters are to stupid to realize he is still SPENDING/investing in projects/trucks the tax payers/couple CAN"T AFFORD.

I thought Bush and Congress were too liberal with their spending, and I also thought the Dems. voted for change and were going to scream like a stuck pig if it happened again.

Where did I go wrong?

I agree, but if you knew my friend, you would know that his "new" truck is a 95, his tools are bought on e-bay, creigslist and from harbor freight, and the loader was a repo..

but seriously, I am sure everyone understands the difference between spending and investing.. (except politicians)

the dems don't have a clue.. to come out after the 2010 elections and demand to spend more is schizophrenic at best. (I may have the mental illnesses mixed up, but that one sounds the craziest)

the voters know we need to run our government..can't someone tell Obama, stop blowing money like there is no tomorrow on crap... cause he clearly didn't hear US..

Denial runs deep in the Dem party and there is no strong proof of that than their reaction to the 2010 election results.

That said Obama will stop blowing money right after the voters remind him personally of what happen to his party in 2010 in 2012.

If they fall for his crap of inching to the center and changing a few words in his speeches then the blowing of money will stop when the Chinese cut him off. For the sake of US, I hope it is not the latter as it is going to be nastier than a druggy going through withdrawal if the Dems. gets cut off.

A couple, or a few more years, of liberals/progressives in power will cure the US of ever voting for them again.

Give them as much slack as they need to hang themselves. The Chinese aren't going to pull the plug on the US until they have them exactly where they want them.

And it's not the Chinese that have the US over the barrel at present, it's the FED.

IMO, it would be better to have obama as President another 4 years. to have him voted out in 2012, will not allow enough time to have all voters feel the affect of his policies.

Let everyone feel the pain first, and then have him leave office. People will have to experience how progressive policies affect them. Once they do, they won't vote for them for another 50 years.

Maybe next time a Democrat/liberal candidate comes up, they will first research and vet him/her.

another 4 years will not do any good..

most of them still talk fondly of Carter, and we know what a disaster that was.. so it appears democrats have a real short attention span..

I agree with you, Steve. Too many Americans still listen to
movie stars. There are too many that are not well-informed
and just go with whatever way the wind blows. Sad.

Too bad you don't have to be a property owner to vote.
That would change things in a hurry. Didn't it used to be that way?

the recent comparisons were enough to make any conservative vomit..

if I had a subscription to the liberal mag that had the article I would have canceled it.

huge difference between Reagan speaking eloquently with passion and conviction, ,then some guy reading from a teleprompter..
