Here's another theory...................The heat is on loan....from TEXAS!!!! Some of our July and August heat.....now maybe we can hope for temps in the 90s instead of 100s :D :D :D
Lilly,a loan has to be payed back...how would you like us to pay you back, say next January????

They are saying we could get between 2-3 inches by Thursday if this storm moving in late tonite follows the track they think it is going ot take. I never llike to predict rainfall as its like counting your chickens before they hatch. And as for the weather forecasters they can hardly predict what will happen today lil own a few days from now.

Big Muddy--I tried to send some your way--actually from the phone calls I've been getting it sounds like north of us got more- just went west of you... Our north place got 1.2 inchs- the community pasture about the same-- one fellow by Opheim had over 2 inchs.....Will definitely make the wildflowers bloom now...And the radar shows more coming in from the south....

As muddy as it was out there feeding it seems we got more- I think only half of it made it into the rain gauge the way the wind was blowing.....

I noticed an old cow laying off alone by the fenceline this morning...Saddled up the mechanical horse and rode over to check her- turned out to be a 55 gal barrel the kids had in the areana for barrel racing-- Wind must have rolled it over there during the night- but it had to be just right to get it to fit thru that 10 food wide gate- then it was strong enough to roll it 1/4 mile

Guess it's dry around Oak lake and Virden. Not the runoff that you got.

It is dry in those areas bmr. Its actually quite wet here hard getting around in the pens. I dont think they had the snow this winter from Virden down through Oak Lake. We were down to Melita on Friday nite and theres a few puddles laying around but the creeks are pretty low.
