Here's how to keep all that political 'news' in perspective.

> 6. The Boston Globe is read by people whose parents used to run the country and did a poor job of it, thank you very much.
>

> 7. The New York Daily News is read by people who aren't too sure who's running the country and don't really care as long as they can get a seat on the train.
>

> 8. The New York Post is read by people who don't care who is running the country as long as they do something really scandalous, preferably while intoxicated.
>

> 9. The Miami Herald is read by people who are running another country, but need the baseball scores.
>
>
> 10. The San Francisco Chronicle is read by people who aren't sure if there is a country or that anyone is running it; but if so, they oppose all that they stand for. There are occasional exceptions if the leaders are handicapped, minority, feminist, atheist dwarfs who also happen to be illegal aliens from any other country or galaxy, provided of course, that they are not Republicans.

Many years ago, there was a cowhand who lived in the bunkhouse at a neighboring ranch. The cowboy could hardly even read, but he subscribed to The Wall Street Journal because everyone he knew that got that newspaper seemed to be quite well off financially. The fact that the newspapers were all still in their original string-tied rolls as yet unread didn't seem to bother him. This same cowboy had one drawer of the dresser just full of mice. Being a kind-hearted guy, he said the mice were there before he was and he just hated to get rid of them for that reason.

I like to get the news from as many angles as I can. When on satellite radio I listen to CBC news, BBC world news, CNN and FOX. The latter 2 are very difficult to get much world new on, and tend to have a lot of fluff, but if you sift through it you can generally learn something. I wish Al Jazeera was on the satellite radio to help a person get even more perspective.

There's no room in my heart for hate, Steve. Dislike perhaps, but not hate

I should not have used the word hate.. it is not a word I like nor care to let into my life either, .. but sometimes lesser words do not work well in trying to show disgust.. .. but I will try... how is this..

here is a link to watch http://english.aljazeera.net/

but be warned, "if after watching it a few days,.. Muslims start pissing you off to much, .. don't come whining to me..
