Other than myself, Per, Hay Maker, BMR and a few others it has been pretty quiet here the last few days. :(

Apparently some people actually have a life.

Grandma banned me from the computer- as everytime I got on it, I'd check the weather site- and then the language coming from my office was unprintable- and she said my depression was depressing her... :(

Spent all morning digging out a haypen- and then jerked out enough bales to tide me over for awhile if this midweek storm gets as bad as they say it could...(Not sure if tractor will start at 20 Below)
My son in law was planning on taking Grandma to Billings for her post surgery check up-- but that sounds like may have to be postponed til next week if this weather moves in..

We had a little of everything for weather today in our area- sun, warmth, clouds, snow, chinook, wind, and rain...Now looking at the highway website-- looks like just around Glasgow for about 50 miles each direction is ice/black ice...Several highways around the state are Emergency travel only-- and one of the highways south of Big Muddy's area is totally closed...

The 35 degree temps and sunshine felt pretty good- but when the sun got clouded over- and the wind was gusting around 50 mph-- it felt a little nippy out there today..

Yes it was pretty nice day except for a bit of drifting until it closed right in about 5pm. Britt had to got to work in Plentywood so left a little early and the road wasn't to bad except at the junction east of us and around the port. She my not be coming home tomorrow as she has a couple more nights work. The road closed is the next hiway to the west. Some wild country down that way and not much to slow the wind.

I've been tired since my knee surgery and going to rehab 3 times a week.
When evening comes, I'm ready to retire. Now today I feel more like my
old self and it's been a month since my knee surgery. I have 112 range of
motion and I might only need this week and part of another in rehab. Of course I have to keep excercising at home...

Happy New Year everyone!!

Glad to hear you are well on the mend FH. :D

While I don't post that much I do enjoy reading all of the posts. Christmas is always such a crazy time around here and then the girls start calving in a few weeks . But when I am on calf watch and it is midnight and minus 30 out I will most likely be on here reading while I wait..

Shoer came in on the afternoon of the 22nd. I found out why you dont ride an english saddle on a cutting horse.........fell off and badly sprained my ankle. Had to work Christmas day through the 27th. Well got off early and went to the Dr.
Shoer left a bit ago and now I am getting ready to go back on couch and put my foot up and take a nap LOL.

I'm not usually real chatty on here but I read the posts most every day. Been busy feeding cows and digging snowbanks out of stackyards so I can get it on trucks and gone before the elk eat it all. My hired man quit the end of november so I've been a little busier than I like to be.
