Doing his duty driving people to the polls, or hiding in a Fox hole.

CA

Probably picking up non oilfield worker bums and driving them to the polls, with a promise of a free beer, if they vote for continuation of his "freebies"

Makes me feel so warm and fuzzy that you were worried about me...

Just made it back from Great Falls this afternoon..So far it seems like the cataract surgery went great...Had the first eye done a week ago- and the other on election day... I see more and better than I have in the last 10 years...I wish now I hadn't put it off so long... (Seemed odd having surgery scheduled on election day- when it wasn't too many years ago lots of business's closed down- and they wouldn't even let the bars open til the polls closed...)

We watched election returns from motel room in Great Falls after going out and having a big steak... Election went about how I figured it would with few surprises or disappointments- biggest was probably a local commissioner race altho the current current commissioner has done a pretty fair job..

Now I need to get ready for the snowstorm they are prediciting to move in tommorrow-- Possible below zero temps- up to a foot of snow- wind--- sounds like thru the end of week and weekend could be nasty...

Glad the surgery went well OT.

I'm hoping you live many more years. It'll be fun watching you piss on the ashes you've left your grandkids allthewhile blaming King George.

I went to get glasses and discovered I had cataracts. After the surgery, now I don't need glasses. OT did nature's greatness of colors jump out and show you what had been gradually declining?? With me, Man what a difference, modern science never ceases to amaze me.

Yep TSR-- I definitely believe everything you say... My bifocals are right now laying on the desk as I type this-- which is clear as a bell- and brighter than I have seen in years and years....

Last Wed (one day after the first surgery) I was gathering and trailing cows- and I was reading eartags I had not been able to see for years without almost standing on the cow

I haven't driven at night except for emergencies for years- because I didn't have the depth perception-- and even in the daytime I had a tough time reading the dash at times.... Altho I wasn't supposed to drive for a day- I was giving the wife a bad time today about slowing down- which got me a comment of how "it was better when you couldn't see"...

I kept putting it off (in part until I could get my insurance to cover it - which came in with many of the new preventive additions they added this year)-- but now wish I'd had it done years ago... Not only positively affected my vision- close and far- but has given me back much of the balance I lost- which was one of the reasons I quit irrigating and riding horses a couple years ago...
