Well Soapweed sure had this storm pegged...can't see anything but white snow. Had a few pairs that wandered off, and so we got them back this morning,,,not a fun time, but we did get them back to the hay...(notice I said we..lol) (while I'm driving the warm pickup)...So Lilly,,,I'm really craving your peach cobbler right about now,, how about coming up and whipping one up??lol Warm cobbler during a blizzard sounds good to me!

Good pictures, Jassy. It's sure not a very nice day out. We have about six inches of snow and the wind is probably whistling through going at least 30 mph. We are down to about 75 cows and ten heifers yet to calve. I'm glad we mostly calved earlier, when the weather was nice.

ordered a Freedom arms 454 Casul yesterday for WSGA AGPAC raffle. It will have 1872 WSGA 2008 engraved on one side of the barrel and WSGA has a outfit that will inlay WSGA in the black grips.
We are having a reverse raffle at the summer convention, other big prize is a John Deer riding lawn mower

Wow, jassy, you certainly got some terrific shots of a "Plains Blizzard."

It's pretty incredible how much those babies can stand, once they get a belly full of milk.

:agree: with FH.

I particularly like the last photo.

Please stay safe...there is no animal life more valuable than human life...we should all remember that, no matter how much we care for our livestock.

Cheers---

Hope you have a nicer day today. Thanks for the pictures. Especially like the first two. It blew here all day (and most other days :? ) but no moisture to go with it.

But..............since lookin at your pictures of a Nebraska Spring day....I've discovered.......It's against my religion to make peach cobbler in weather like that :p

CHICKEN!!!!!!!LOL

The wind is still blowing today,,,making some pretty good sized drifts,,but at least it has quit snowing....Hubby plowed a path the critters and they survived the nite pretty well,,,so they're all fed and calves are bedded down again...Still kind of a whiteout though, hard on the eyes...

I hear through the grapevine that Soapweed may be drifted in even more than we are...Hope you can dig out soon Soap!
