After reading that I have to ask who do you believe when Obama says he did not move the goal posts in the talks with Republicans and that Boehner left him at the alter and Boehner claims he did and that Obama was asking for higher tax hikes that the Republicans could not agree with so they walked?

I truly believe that Obama could not tell the truth if he wanted to BECAUSE he doesn't know how. When will the Liberal bias media actually OPEN THEIR EYES and see him for what he is, A LIAR. Geez even FactsCheck.com proved that. :roll:

Everyone knows that the reason the Tea Party exists is because of the out of control government spending BUT there is no way Obama and the Dems, who doubled the US debt in the last couple years will allow the TEA Party to ever take credit for the attention that is focused on the debt and deficit. They will lie til the cows come home about how they want to be fiscally responsible and cut the deficits but they will never touch any of their pet programs, where in the problems lie and chance upsetting their base.

The raising of the debt ceiling is just another example of "do as I say", in a long line of Do as I Say's for the Democrats.

The Republican should make a deal to raise the debt ceiling right after Obama holds a press conference and addresses the nation and admits to all the lieing, and fear mongering he has done to get the Republicans boxed into a corner so they will do something that he would NOT do for Bush. He wants his debt ceiling raised COME CLEAN and finally tell the voters the truth about everything. Maybe even include his personal records like Birth Certificate, Passport, college and health records. Let's see if Obama suffers from Migraines or not. Let's see what it is worth to him to keep his records sealed. What makes me think he would rather default than open himself up to the TRUTH.

In an accidental moment of honesty, White House Deputy Press Secretary Dan Pfeiffer today admitted on Twitter that President Obama will likely sign any debt deal Congress sends his way. This revelation came in an exchange with Stephen Gutowski, the blogger known as The College Politico. Gutowski asked Pfeiffer: "Do you see a scenario where the house & senate pass a deal but the President doesn't sign it?" and Pfeiffer responded: "No, bc only something that has R and D support can pass both bodies".
