And from August 29 from the Venezuelan news reports. hypo you are soooo busted. It says "Rain in nearly all the country." Tell us again how you are idle because of the drought in Venezuela.

By the way, those tropical storms in the Pacific are affecting Venezuela and have been for the month of August. Result -- torrential downpour.

Whitewing, get any planting done?

LOL reader is so funny ......I have been asked many times how much rain I got since the news was reporting this area was getting lots of rain. 99% of the time we never felt a drop.
FYI we are getting rain this morning not much but I bet when I get to work they will have gotten ALOT more.

Zero rain, and now it's gone from bad to critical.

I left on Thursday of last week and returned on Tuesday morning. I was appalled at the difference in just those few days. Even the weeds are drying up.

If I can get them sorted and loaded I'll be posting lots of pics today and you guys can see for yourselves just how dry it appears.

I wish reader was right, I wish I had been busted.

Kind of getting dry here.

No doubt, I sort of wish I had bought more hay earlier in the summer.

But then again, maybe if we get an a little rain within a couple of weeks, then maybe I can pasture through November.

True enough.

I'm hoping the neighbor will rent out his farm to me next year, that way I'd even have some hay to sell.

Good luck with that.

Those corn-soybean boys have been paying some pretty high rents.

Got to go move the hogs to fresh pasture.

See you later.
