Ask a Catholic, ask a parent if they think it's intrusive to tell them what to feed their kids, ask a gunowner whose rght are being threatened by actions from F&F, ask a person with healthcare insurance, etc
I disagree there....

alot of democrats liked the guy as he consistently won in a heavily democrat district...
he lost re-election for several reasons..
1. he lost conservative support for endorsing another republican who later betrayed his beliefs (arlene spector)
2. a costly smear job done by liberal attacks based on sketchy list of accusations made up by far left liberals.
3. it was a really bad year for republican in the house..

BINGO..we have a winner, Bullhauler was the first to jump out and trash Santorum.
Now the question is who will be the second, we know they are busting their shirt buttons to get down and dirty and trash him.

He must be in a cooling off period, He does that trying to cool off from his past lies and not have to answer question where he was put on the spot. He'll be back as soon as his last lie has moved on down the page a little.

Too bad Santorum was in the SENATE. He lost by one of the biggest margins ever for an incumbant senator too.
17.4-point victory margin was the largest victory margin for a challenger to an incumbent Senator since James Abdnor unseated George McGovern by 18.8 points in 1980.
Santorum got his start in politics at the age of 32 by unexpectedly knocking off a seven-term incumbent congressman in a strongly Democratic district in the Pittsburgh suburbs.
Thrown into an even less GOP-friendly district by redistricting in 1992, he repeated the feat, and in 1994 he knocked off an incumbent Democratic senator.
Mistaken identity
Restricted from seeking another term as Auditor General of Pennsylvania, Casey declined to seek the office of State Treasurer in 1976. Instead, a county official who was also named Robert Casey won the Democratic primary and the general election, spending virtually no money and doing virtually no campaigning; voters merely assumed they were voting for the outgoing Auditor General.[citation needed] In 1980 the Republicans launched an extensive advertising campaign to clarify that "Casey isn't Casey," and the Democratic state treasurer was defeated for re-election, losing to Budd Dwyer.
In 1978, yet another candidate named Robert P. "Bob" Casey, a different Robert Casey, this one a teacher and ice cream parlor owner, likewise received the Democratic party's nomination for Lieutenant Governor, again with a no-spending, no-campaigning strategy. This Casey, who joined Democratic gubernatorial nominee Pete Flaherty, narrowly lost to Dick Thornburgh and Bill Scranton.
