Left-wing activists have taken to the streets of America demanding that statues of historical figures from the Confederacy be taken down. They feel the monuments represent the oppression of American blacks.
But there’s an organization in the United States that’s responsible for the deaths of far more blacks than the KKK, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson combined. And rather than demand it be destroyed, the Left fights to maintain its public funding and reveres its founder.
Margaret Sanger (1879 – 1966) was the founder of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, wherein she initiated “The Negro Project” in 1939. The objective of the Negro Project was to reverse the growth of the black community by infiltrating it with birth control services. If killing blacks off altogether was not possible, then it sought to at least greatly reduce the black growth rate through abortion and sterilization.
Her vision has become wildly successful. Though black females of child-bearing age only make up about 6 percent of the U.S. population, they account for about 35 percent of all abortions. This year, more than 40 years after the Roe decision was reached, it’s estimated that another 1,900 black babies will be killed per day in the United States.
A bust and memorial to Sanger is on display in the (publicly-funded) Smithsonian, ironically in its “Struggle for Justice” exhibit. But turning the tables on hypocritical liberals, a group of black pastors has been calling for its removal.
