I guess at least Trump is putting his money where his mouth is trying to find out the truth.

maybe the bigger question is who would vote for Obama again?...

Poll: Could Trump beat Obama in 2012?
A new survey from Newsweek and The Daily Beast indicates President Obama is ahead of Trump by only two percentage points, 43-41

New Poll: Trump Could Beat Obama in 2012
Ford Motor Co. CEO Alan Mulally are within striking distance of defeating Obama. In a head-to-head race between Obama and Trump, the entrepreneur would get nearly half the vote, 47 percent.

Newsmax Poll: Gates, Buffett, and Trump Could Beat Obama in 2012 Race

Recent polls indicate that if Obama ran against "W" Bush in a 2012 rematch, Bush would win

While that is not an indicator of how bad Obama is doing, the poll putting him up against former President Ford shows a Ford pulling off a slight victory. In fact the polls show the Edsel has a better chance at a comeback then Obama

The only former President Obama didn't lose to was Jimmy Carter, but it would be a nail biting photo finish

I truly believe that TWAP could get re-elected in 2012. If the conservatives don't hang tough and fight like hell against this country spending (and taxing) itself into utter nothingness, it will probably happen. I was praying for a government shutdown last Friday, but the 'Pubs caved. They flat out caved, and I'm madder than hell about it. They need to quit caving and do what's right, and let the chips fall where they may.

I could vote for the Donald, if he announces and runs, but I could just as easily vote for Romney or possibly Newt if they were to toss their hat in the ring. The intriguing thing about both the Donald and Romney is the fact they are both businessmen, and have a wealth of experience where the rubber meets the road in that regard....... even if you figure in Trump's bankruptcies, he's still done worlds more than TWAP ever will, even if he lives 500 lifetimes.

Could Barry get re-elected? Oh, yeah.....it's real.......it's damn real.

Poll: Romney, Huckabee lead Obama in swing state Florida
By Michael O'Brien - 04/11/11 08:02 AM ET

President Obama's reelection effort could fall short in Florida if he ends up facing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney or former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in the general election, according to a new poll.

Both Romney and Huckabee would beat Obama in the key swing state if the election were held today, said a Sachs/Mason Dixon poll released Monday.

Forty-eight percent of Florida voters would elect Romney over Obama in a hypothetical matchup. Forty-three percent of Floridians would prefer a second term for Obama.

Huckabee would best Obama 49-44 percent, according to the poll, making him and Romney the candidates tested in the poll who would fare best against the incumbent president.

44% would still vote for Obama? Florida is full of retirees. What must
they be not thinking?

That's 44% against Huckabee. If there was a better choice running for the Repubs., I bet it would be lower.

Just 38% say President Barack Obama deserves re-election

UTICA, NY - A new IBOPE Zogby Survey finds a majority of likely voters are ready for someone new in the White House, as just 38% say Obama deserves to be re-elected and 55% say it is time for someone new. The poll of 2,125 voters was conducted from April 1-4, 2111.

Do you think President Obama deserves to be re-elected or do you think it is time for someone new?

There's an "old" retiree who lurks HERE who still thinks TWAP hung the moon. Maybe he's too busy cashing "Big Oil's" checks for his mineral rights?

Yes, but have you seen some of the news stories that comes out of Florida?

There was a national morning radio program (but not a good one) that had a piece called Germany or Florida?

The idea was to guess where the rediculous event occured, Germany or Florida?

Anyway, after hearing some of the stories I can believe anything about Florida. And I imagine if it were not for the retirees, the conservative vote would be significantly lower.

6% of republicans do not believe it is time for someone new?

4% of republicans say Obama deserves to be re-elected?

I would say we have at least 6% of those who "claim" to be republicans should be kicked out of the party... and 4% of them should be committed... cause that is one schizophrenic view. :?

the comments are awesome.

Awesome comments are great, but can you actually back anything up that you post?

I think not. And I don't even have the faintest idea of what is true or not regarding Trump. But what I do have hard facts on, you have posted alot of lies.

Lets see you actually add to the discussion.

Trump speech in Florida. He beings up obama and Rezco, Ayers, Rev. Wright, the BC and the authors of obama's books.

I'm still not sure of the intentions of Trump, but....

During the primaries he backed Hillary and we all know that it was Hillary supporters that brought up the "birther' issue orginally, so....is Trump doing some dirty work for the Clintons, in case Hillary decides to primary obama?

Hillery might be considering another option........

it was clear as early as she was willing to not only shift to the middle, but to take a strong conservative position on "hot button" issues..

before all you conservatives have a heart attack. or vomit.. consider the one of the other options.. Obama with another four years..

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is staking out a position on illegal immigration that is more conservative than President Bush, a strategy that supporters and detractors alike see as a way for the New York Democrat to shake the “liberal” label and appeal to traditionally Republican states.

In an interview last month on Fox News, Mrs. Clinton said she does not “think that we have protected our borders or our ports or provided our first responders with the resources they need, so we can do more and we can do better.”

In an interview on WABC radio, she said: “I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants.”

it was noticed again in 2006

Too Conservative

She is too conservative. Because of political pressure, polling numbers and nervous advisers, Clinton has suddenly abandoned her base and tried to appeal more to the right, thus confusing and irritating the entire electorate. Her staunch support for the war has upset millions of Democrats. Her refusal to strongly back Roe v. Wade has angered millions of pro-choicers. And her recent partnerships with Senator McCain and other Republicans on various legislations simply confused her allies.

PRINCETON, NJ -- If Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were to challenge President Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2012, she would currently have the support of 37% of Democrats nationally, while 52% would support Obama.

Obama's strengths among Democrats in the hypothetical matchup with Clinton lie with college graduates and liberals, the latter of whom make up about 36% of this sample of 859 Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents. Clinton does better among less well-educated Democrats and bests Obama among conservatives, who make up 22% of Democrats. Clinton does slightly better among women than among men.

[…]These data show that conservative Democrats are the least likely to support Obama when Clinton is his hypothetical opponent, suggesting that Obama may be most vulnerable to a possible challenge from that wing of his party.

if you think I just stepped off the deep end,...

, but if they took off their political glasses for a just a second, they could logically conclude that they believe in the following:

- The success of a President requires a level of moderation and compromise in order to achieve truly
significant accomplishments.
- The Democrats during the 1990’s were not as influenced by the far left as the Democrats in the House
and Senate today.
- The country truly benefits under the mantra that small government is better.
- A balanced budget is critical in keeping the USA a strong, viable country.
- A run away deficit risks the security of America’s future.

Hillary can also conclude that President Obama does not believe in any of the above concepts or ideas so whose side should she be on?

The Clintons should just step back and objectively look at themselves. They would realize how they align closer to Republicans these days. Additionally, the “new wave” Republicans and their “Pledge to America” give the Clintons a new energized party to work with.
If Hillary wants to turn Washington upside down and truly lead the change that America needs, it is time to jump ship and cement herself in history as the President who took America out of its slump and into long term prosperity for people today and in the future.

Hillary, there is a big elephant in the room.

what to scary of a thought for a Sunday?? ..

Going back to Donald. I was watching him being interviewed today and he seems to be of the opinion that the country needs ran more like a business. He suggested if we go over and fight they pay us to do it. Where many of the nations over there are very wealthy.

He says he can't say he'll run until after his show is over.

I look for him to. What about you?

I hope he does, too. However, I would hate if he failed to get the 'Pub nomination and then ran as an Independent, which, I think would cause the Ross Perot effect.

I think I could vote for him with no qualms.

I do know this....if Erwin Charles Simants ran against Ben Nelson for Nelson's US Senate seat, I'd cast my vote for the mass murderer from Sutherland. Ben has gotta go in '12!
