I encourage everyone to read the book "Betrayed". It contains important
and inside information of what is happening to our military. Billy Vaughn (father of Aaron Vaughn who was killed in Extortion 17, August 2011) exposes so much of what is going on in the military, mostly due to the Obama Administration. The Rules of Engagement put out by the Obama Administration has the military's hand tied behind their back. Billy Vaughn says his son never became a Navy Seal to 'win the hearts and minds' of the enemy. He became a Seal to fight for his republic.
For those who believe that Bush caused a lot of the military to be killed or maimed, what has happened under Obama is far worse. We had a body bag count daily under Bush, thanks to the news media. Now they are silent. Why?
These statistics are listed at www.icasualties.org:
2001-Dec. 31, 2008 (7 years) 630 American Deaths; 2638 Wounded
2009-Dec. 31, 2012 (4 years) 1,544 American Deaths; 15,036 wounded.
The political arena from the beginning of the Obama Administration has
led to more military deaths and more wounded. The book is alarming and I
applaud Billy Vaughn for having the courage to write it. Politics have way too much influence on what happens to our soldiers.
Again, I encourage everyone to read this book. The Obama Administration do not have the soldiers back. Billy Vaughn talks about how the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our government and how we, the taxpayers, are sending money to the enemy, unbeknownst to us. Here is an exerpt:
"John Kerry put together an estimated $4 billion in aid through the State Department, circumventing Congress. Then the Commander-in-Chief added another $500 million of taxpayer funded aid to the Palestine Authority, through a one-page Executive Order also waiving the restrictions set by Congress, using "National Security" interests as he reason. At the same time, it is reported that John Kerry was looking to add another $200 million to the Palestinians for a total of almost $5 billion in US aid going to known insurgent entities connected through the web of terror organizations that our men and women have been fighting for the last twelve years.
Some lawmakers were 'opposed' to the aid, but did not stop it. They were opposed both because of alleged sequestration budget cuts as well as known Palestinian ties to terrorist organizations. If Congress as a whole truly wanted to stop this, they could have, but they did not."
"We need to take a look at who has been hurt the most by sequestration budget cuts from a budge that hasn't existed in Congress for five years. While billions in aid were poured into Muslim Brotherhood operations all over the Middle East, our men and women in uniform, fighting the different factions of these groups in Iraq, and especially now in Afghanistan, have been denied essential resources and military equipment.
Our own government funds those who aim to harm our soldiers while simultaneously defunding our military. With shocking audacity, the government orders our troops to step up efforts in the battlefield with less and less as they make sure the opposition has more and more."
I hope this has whet ones appetite to read a book that needs read by all
concerned Americans.
