Kola's gettin the rain we normally get durin the winter.

We've had lil showers here and there. Mostly misty drizzly days when it does anything. But some is better'n none.

We got 25 inches in 4 days back in 1994....oh man was it flooded around here!!!!!!

It was 68F at 8AM yesterday.....today @ 8:26 it's still about 59F but man sure is windy.

Not sure how much rain we got last nite but it POURED and the main creek/creek banks are trashed and washed out big time. Lots of work ahead when it dries out a bit.

Ga red clay is pure gumbo right now.

It is 23 degrees and overcast with a very light breeze here this morning. High for the day is supposed to be 38 degrees with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. We are planning to run a hundred two-year-old heifers through the chute and give them their first Scourgard shot along with a permanent ear tag.

My mother used to visit the hairdresser to get a "permanent." Seems like in another two or three months she would do the process all over again. I wondered at the time why they didn't just call a "permanent" a "temporary," because that's all it was. I should have said we were installing what would hopefully be long-term temporary tags in the heifers.
